Compliance & data use

Google account & YouTube

WireTheVoid uses Google OAuth so you can connect your YouTube channel. The consent screen lists three scopes, matching what we request in code:

  • youtube.upload — upload videos you choose when you click Upload; list, edit title/description/privacy, and optionally delete your videos on the Videos page when you use those controls.
  • youtube (manage your YouTube account) — read your channel for the dashboard and load/save channel description and keywords on the Channel page when you click Save.
  • yt-analytics.readonly — show a read-only daily analytics summary on the Analytics page.

Manual workflow

The app does not schedule uploads or run bulk automation in the background. Each upload is started by you from the upload screen when you click the upload action.

No scraping or unofficial collection

WireTheVoid does not scrape YouTube websites or collect YouTube data from web-page HTML. When the product interacts with your YouTube account or channel data, it does so through Google OAuth, the YouTube Data API, the YouTube Analytics API, and Google’s official resumable upload endpoints.

Team sign-in (optional)

If our deployment uses a team password before the dashboard, that layer is separate from Google OAuth — it only controls access to the site. After team sign-in, you still use Connect YouTube so Google can authorize the exact scopes we request.

Disconnect

Use Sign out in the header or Disconnect YouTube on the dashboard, upload, videos, channel, analytics, or recent pages when you are connected — that clears our OAuth session for this site. You can also revoke access in your Google Account permissions.
